A plethora of WASPians for this year's Harbour Cottage Gallery exhibition, including Andy Livingstone, Cat Coulson, Claire Cameron-Smith, Hannah Morris, Ian Cameron-Smith, Jane Carrick, Katy Quinn, Laura Derby, Maggie Ayres, Michael Johnson and myself.

I will have some framed works (including at least one brand new one - hot off the press) as well as mounted & unframed prints and greeting cards.

I will be taking part in Spring Fling again this year from my WASPS studio in Kirkcudbright. Landscapes, microscopes and other work...and still more talking! My studio is on the first floor, but I will also have a selection of work on the ground floor of WASPS for those unable to reach my studio.

I have 3 works in the upcoming DECADE exhibition at Kirkcudbright Galleries.

The exhibition is a celebration of Upland's 10th anniversary. Amongst other things, Upland is the organiser of the Spring Fling open studios event in D&G.

From Upland: "Rooted in the landscapes and communities of Dumfries & Galloway, the exhibition reflects a decade of shared journeys, creative growth and connection. It showcases a diverse range of works – painting, sculpture, ceramics, film and more – that highlight the connections and relationships that have shaped Upland’s Journey."

The exhibition runs from 18 January to 9 March 2025.

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday: 10am – 4pm, and Sundays: 11:30 – 4pm. (Last entry at 3:45pm). Admission is free!

I am giving a talk at the Quarrymen's Art Centre in Creetown, Dumfries & Galloway in June as part of their "Ordinary People, Extraordinary Lives" series. I'll be talking about my life, music and photography and will have a selection of images and CDs available for purchase on the night.

I will be exhibiting a selection of works alongside my most excellent colleagues from WASPS Kirkcudbright from Sunday 14th to Saturday 20th of April 2024. A selection of jewellery (Katy Quinn and Elizabeth Gault), glass gilding (Katy Quinn), furniture making (Ian Cameron-Smith), printmaking (Claire Cameron-Smith) and textiles (Laura Derby) as well as some of my photography of course.

I will be showing some of my Scottish landscapes as well as a few new "Microscape" pieces that I am showing for the first time.

Come visit for the opening on Sunday (2 - 4pm). I will also be in the gallery all day on the Monday.
